Zimbabwe’s only representatives in the CAF inter-clubs competition, FC Platinum will begin their campaign in the preliminary round of the Champions League.
The Zvishavane side will face CNaPS FC of Madagascar away in their first game on November 27/28. The return leg will be played the following week.
If they manage to progress to the first round, they will clash against Congolese champions AS Otoho or Desportivo 1ero Agosto of Angola which knocked them out in the previous edition.
FC Platinum are making a return to the African safari after they were handpicked by the PSL to represent the country on the virtue of being 2017 Champions.
Harare City which was supposed to take part in the Confederation Cup decided not to play in the competition due to budget constraints
