FC Platinum will depart tomorrow morning for their first round first-leg encounter against AS Otoho of Congo Brazzaville on Sunday.
The Zimbabwe champions will spend three days acclimatising to the high temperatures in the central African country before the Sunday’s game at Stade Marien Ngauabi in Owando State, about 450KM from the capital Brazzaville.
In an interview with the Chronicle, FC Platinum public relations officer Chido Chizondo confirmed the date of departure.
“We are set to leave in the early hours of Thursday morning via Kenyan Airways,” she said.
The Zvishavane side beat CNaPS of Madagascar to progress to the first round while Otoho knocked out Agosto of Luanda on the away goals’ rule.
