Norman Mapeza is confident that FC Platinum are going to use home advantage and qualify for the African champions league mini-league phase at the expense of Congolese side Otoho D’oyo.

The Zimbabwe champions got a crucial away point and goal after holding Otoho D’oyo 1-1 in Owando with William Sitima getting the equaliser in the second half.

“This is a massive result for us. We came here looking for a result, and we got it. This is what we wanted going back to Zimbabwe, and we are going to finish them off at home,” said Mapeza.

A win or a goalless draw next week at Mandava stadium will see FC Platinum qualify for the mini-league phase for the first time after three attempts.
