Willard Katsande has become the latest Kaizer Chiefs player to have his phone number cloned by hackers.

The scammers use the mobile number to extort money from friends and family.

Katsande, who is currently in Madagascar with team for a Confederation Cup encounter, announced the news on his Twitter account this morning, warning everyone on his contact list to ignore the message sent.

He said: “Hello guys,my 078 number is hacked. Please dont send any money asked by that person pretending to be me. Its not me. Am in Madagascar for our match.thank you kitoko makasi @KaizerChiefs”

Fellow countryman and team-mate Khama Billiat also fell victim to phone hackers last month while striker Dumisani Zuma also had his mobile number cloned.
