Former Chicken Inn striker Obriel Chirinda is trying his luck at Highlanders with hope to sign for the club.
According to Sunday News, the 21-year-old was among the 30 players that attended the trials on Saturday at Crescent Sport Club in Bulawayo.
Chirinda’s contract with Chicken Inn ended last week but there was confusion as the club claimed the player’s deal will only expire in 2021. He was a critical part in the Gamecocks squad that finished the campaign in the 3rd position.
Former Bulawayo City goalkeeper, Wellington Muuya was also present at the trials amid reports he is one of the favourites to land a spot at Bosso after the club released Nedrick Madeya and Prosper Matutu.
