Warriors defender Teenage Hadebe says the game against Congo Brazzaville is a must-win encounter despite the team needing at least a draw to book a place at the 2019 Afcon finals.
Zimbabwe currently top Group G with eight points while the Central Africans sit on the bottom with five. The match will be played on the 24th of March at National Sports Stadium.
In an interview with H-Metro, Hadebe said: “We should win this game at all cost. I think everyone knows what is required and we only have to impose our game plan from the start if we want to win this game.
“Even here I have been working hard, and that has seen me improving in all the games I am playing.”
The encounter is a repeat of an Afcon qualifier played twenty-eight years ago where Zimbabwe failed to progress to the finals held in Senegal after the central Africans denied them a win at the National Sports Stadium which could have sealed their place at the tournament.
