Wits forward Dzvukamanja scores against former club Ngezi in friendly

Ngezi Platinum managed to put everything in order and travelled to South Africa on Monday for a pre-season tour, a few days after the PSL had initially blocked the trip saying the request had some missing documents.

Madamburo played their first practice match on Tuesday morning against Bidvest Wits behind closed doors and lost the tie 4-1.

Former Ngezi forward Terrence Dzvukamanja managed to get on the scoresheet for the South African side during the first phase of the encounter. Simon Murray also hit the target as the tourists went to the break trailing 2-0.

Gabadinho Mhango added a brace in the second phase while Ngezi got their consolation from winger Barnabas Mushunje.

The Errol Akbay-coached side will now face Supersport United in their second match of the tour.
