Tinotenda Kadewere’s recent form has excited Warriors coach Sunday Chidzambwa ahead of the decisive Afcon qualifier against Congo next Sunday.

The 23-year-old scored and assisted the other goal in Le Havre’s 3-1 home victory over Ajaccio in the Match-day 29 of the Ligue 2 on Friday. He has now been directly involved in four goals in March alone, scoring two in the three games he featured in this month.

“Of course, it’s great when our players are performing well for their teams. Kadewere is a good player, he is in top form, and we are looking forward to seeing his qualities against Congo on Sunday,” Chidzambwa told the Standard.

The forward is part of the 28-man provisional squad for the tricky fixture along with new boys Kelvin Lunga who is based in Germany, and Admiral Muskwe from English side Leicester City.
