Harare City has donated clothes towards the victims of Cyclone Idai which hit the country last week.

The Sunshine Boys’ C.E.O Tafadzwa Bhasera handed over the goods on behalf of the club to former Dynamos striker and Footballers Union of Zimbabwe (FUZ) staffer Norman Moroto at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday.

“As Harare City, we saw it as a noble idea to donate these items we handed over to FUZ for the victims in Chimanimani. Our prayers are with those who lost their relatives,” said Bhasera.

FUZ has been leading the campaign in mobilising donations from the local football fraternity.

Over 200 people have lost their lives and several more were left homeless in the Eastern part of the country.

Meanwhile, the Warriors will observe a moment of silence in their Sunday’s match against Congo at National Sports Stadium.
