Marvelous Nakamba will not be on the pitch today, but he believes his Warriors team-mates will deliver a positive result against Congo Brazzaville in a crucial Afcon qualifier.
The Belgium-based midfielder will watch the game from the stands after picking up a hip injury during a training session at his Club Brugge two weeks ago.
Nakamba who jetted into the country to be with the rest of the squad has expressed disappointment on missing out this final tie and says he had been looking forward to playing a part in the encounter.
“I’m disappointed because I have been looking on this big match for some weeks now. I will not be on the pitch against Congo Brazzaville but I believe in my team-mates that’s why I’m here to support my brothers,” he said.
The 25-year-old would have loved to feature against the Central Africans with hope to end his frustrations of lack of game time at his club. Nakamba has failed to break into the first XI since coming from his red card suspension in early February.
