Highlanders coach Madinda Ndlovu says he will have a full-strength squad in the match against Dynamos this afternoon.
The two traditional rivals clash at National Sports Stadium in the 2019 Independence Cup. The encounter is a repeat of the 2017 tie which was won by the Glamour Boys.
Speaking to the Chronicle ahead of the match, Madinda wants to use the match to improve his team’s fitness.
“We’ve been crying that our players are not match fit and this is a game we will also use to improve match-fitness for our boys. So we are not fielding a second-string side, but a strong team minus those ruled out because of injuries and suspension in the league. It’s a practice game before we take on Triangle United next Monday,” he said.
Meanwhile, the cup game has $80 000 at stake. Kick-off is at 3 pm.
