Dynamos have sacked coach Lloyd Chigowe following the 1-0 loss to Herentals, according to sources within the club.

The Dembare executive was locked in a marathon meeting on Monday night after the team conceded their fourth straight defeat across all competitions.

Efforts to get a comment from the executive were fruitless as they had switched off their phones. But the club insiders say the executive was caught unaware by the demands of the fans who demanded action after the Herentals defeat and were running around to find a replacement who can appease the fans.

Chigowe’s two assistants Murape Murape and Expense Chitukutuku were thought to be too lightweight to lead the club. Some of the names that have been branded around include Tonderayi Ndiraya, Philemon Mutyakureva and a possible return of Lloyd Mutasa.
