Gift Lunga Jnr has left Highlanders to join a Southern Region Division One side, Mosi Rovers.
The former forward was Bosso’s Under-18 team coach, and he leaves the club after Rovers approached the Bulawayo giants as they look to challenge for promotion this season.
Highlanders confirmed the development in a statement posted on Social Media on Friday.
“We are glad to announce that our Under 18 coach Gift Lunga Jnr has, with the blessing of the Club, joined Southern Region Division One outfit Mosi Rovers,” reads the statement.
“The Club was approached by Mosi who want to challenge for promotion and sees this as an opportunity for Lunga to grow in coaching.
“We wish Lunga all the best in this new challenge,” the club added.
