Manica Diamonds have announced that they will not move to Vengere Stadium in Rusape for their home game against TelOne this weekend.
The venue which is about 90km from the club’s home town Mutare was supposed to host its first match on Sunday after it received approval from Zifa’s First Instant Body to host league games early in the week.
But due to inconveniences which could delay the delivery of the necessary sponsor branding to be put in place in the stadium before the match, the PSL has advised the club to use Gibbo Stadium this week.
UPDATE: Our match vs @TelOneFCZW this Sunday is at Gibbo and not Vengere as we had hoped following the homologation of Vengere by ZIFA's First Instance Body yesterday. pic.twitter.com/bjrUiTFI3k

This means the Mutare-based side will need to travel over 320km to Triangle again for their home match.
