FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza has admitted that the match against ZPC Kariba will be a tough task for the champions who are hoping to bounce back from last weekend’s shock defeat to TelOne.

The Platinum Boys host Kauya Katuruturu at Mandava Stadium in Match-day 8 on Saturday.

Speaking at a presser on Thursday ahead of the encounter, Mapeza wants his charges to put on a better show and keep the momentum with the leading pack.

“It’s not going to be an easy game for us,” Mapeza said. “We have always struggled against ZPC Kariba, especially at home.

“They will be high in confidence since they are coming from a big victory against Ngezi Platinum, but we have to win this one to cover the gap between us and those teams that are ahead of us.”

FC Platinum dropped to fifth place in the previous round while ZPC Kariba are on 15 points, one place ahead of their opponents. and only separated by goal difference.
