Following a slump in the previous round, FC Platinum are looking to bounce but against a tricky side ZPC Kariba.

The two teams face each other Mandava Stadium, and it’s the Platinum Boys who will be seeking a revival after dropping four places to the fifth position last weekend following a 1-0 shock defeat at the hands of newcomers TelOne.

The loss was the reigning champions’ first dent of the season.

And coach Norman Mapeza now wants his charges to rise up and put on a better show.

“It is normal to lose a match in this industry, but we have to respond after losing. The boys have to stand up and be counted,” he said ahead of the game.

With ten league encounters between the two side, the home team holds a better record with four wins while Kauya Katurutura have two.

But considering the form of ZPC Kariba, the champions could be up for a real task. The visiting side has only dropped points once this term, a 1-0 loss against Dynamos.

They are on 15 points, one place ahead of their opponents, who have amassed 14 points so far.
