Warriors coach Sunday Chidzambwa says he would want to start this year’s Cosafa campaign on a high against Comoros and retain the regional Cup.

Zimbabwe play the Islanders at 5:30 pm today in Durban South Africa.

“It is every coach’s wish to win a tournament that he participates in and I am no exception. I would like to win this one as well and make it a hat-trick,” said Chidzambwa.

“I am taking this match against Comoros seriously because this does not set us towards retaining the title only but also serves us well in our preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations. This is the opportunity for us to try combinations in a competitive game situation.”

Zimbabwe alongside Uganda whom they face off at the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt have the strongest squads at the tournament.

The Warriors are also due to play Nigeria in an international friendly on the 8th of June.
