A host of Castle Lager Premier Soccer league matches are on the cards this afternoon country-wide as the battle for the country’s biggest football prize continues.

Table anchors Bulawayo Chiefs face defending champions FC Platinum at Luveve Stadium, with Norman Mapeza’s charges looking to bounce back from two games without a win.

Chiefs themselves will not be a pushover, they beat Mushowani Stars  away from home last weekend and also stunned DeMbare when they were in the City of Kings the last time.

At the National Sports Stadium, army side Black Rhinos will be looking to get maximu points against ZPC Kariba and record a third consecutive victory after beating Herentals and TelOne 2-1 and 2-0 respectively.

Elsewhere, Harare City and the Students clash at Rufaro, with the latter probably oozing with confidence after their come back win over title-chasing CAPS United last week but in Mark Harrison’s side, they face an equally formidable opponent.

At Mandava, Chapungu host relegation-threatened Yadah FC.

All games kick off at 15:00hrs.
