FIFA has turned down a request by the Sport and Recreation Commission (SRC) to remove the entire ZIFA leadership from office and appoint a normalisation committee.

The SRC wrote to the world football body two weeks ago, accusing ZIFA of mismanaging their finances.

According to the letter, the normalisation committee would have been tasked to run the domestic football for a specified period.

In response, FIFA said that it was not going to appoint the committee and urged both the SRC and ZIFA to iron out their differences.
