Zimbabwean teenage sensation Admiral Muskwe was the star of the show in Leicester City U23s 2-0 win over Wolves U23 last night.
The 21-year-old, who is part of new Warriors coach Joey Antipas’ squad for the World Cup qualifier against Somalia, opened the scoring for Leicester in the 16th minute when he was sent through on goal via an exquisite through ball and finished expertly to make it 1-0.
He nearly added to his and Leicester’s tally four minuets later when his turn and shoot went inches over the cross bar.
Muskwe even had the ball in the back of the net again for the Young Foxes in the 36th minute but his effort was ruled out for offside.
The young star’s goal seemed to be the match winner, up uptill they were awarded a penalty in stoppage time, which George Hirst sent the keeper the wrong way to make it 2-0.
