Warriors striker Knowledge Musona has sent a message, backing the boys who will do duty this afternoon.

The national team face Somalia in the second leg of the preliminary round World Cup qualifier at National Sports Stadium.

The side is trailing 1-0 on aggregate and the Belgium-based forward, who is not part of the squad, has posted on Twitter, urging those in the team to turn around the result.

He said: “Warriors never give up. Go out there and prove those who doubt you by turning the results around and qualify for the group stages. Always behind you boys.”

To progress to the next round, the Warriors need to overcome the deficit without conceding or win the game with at least a two-goal margin.

Kick-off is at 3 pm.
