Ngezi Platinum Stars have named a new coach to replace the departed Dutchman, Erol Akbay.

Akbay left the club last week along with his assistant Tendai Chikuni, just nine months after assuming the coaching role.

The club has now appointed Rodwell Dhlakama on an interim basis until the end of the season. He joins Ngezi after getting sacked at Chapungu over the weekend.

Dhlakama’s first assignment will be against Mushowani Stars on Saturday in the first round of the Chibuku Super Cup.
