Amazulu have confirmed Talent Chawapiwa will miss action until the mid of next month after damaging his hamstring.

The 27-year-old picked the injury earlier in the month and is only expected to return at least three weeks from now.

He missed the Telkom Knockout clash against Mamelodi Sundowns last weekend and was also omitted from the provisional squad announced on Wednesday for the Warriors’ Afcon qualifying campaign.

This is the second time the midfielder has been excluded from the national team after coach Joey Antipas didn’t call him for the World Cup qualifiers in September.

Zimbabwe will face Botswana on the 15th of November at Barbourfields Stadium before travelling to Lusaka for their second Group H game against Zambia four days later.
