Dynamos have failed to beat Highlanders in an open league play in recent meetings, and the two teams will face each other again this afternoon.

The Glamour Boys have struggled in the hands of their long-time rivals in the last four years with their only victory in the tie coming during the 2017 season via the boardroom after the match was abandoned before the halftime due to crowd trouble.

Coach Tonderai Ndiraya is now targeting to break the jinx in today’s encounter and beat Bosso for the first since 2015.

“They have dominated us in the past few years, but we are determined to change all that,” said Ndiraya, according to The Standard.

“We are hoping to change that dominance with a win but it is not going to be an easy task because they are currently enjoying a purple patch.”

The match is scheduled for Rufaro Stadium and kick-off is at 3 pm.
