de Jongh targets Chibuku Super Cup final

Highlanders coach Hendrik Pieter de Jongh is targeting to reach the 2019 Chibuku Super Cup final when they face ZPC Kariba this afternoon.

de Jongh is yet to lose a match since taking over at the Bulawayo giants in September, and he beat bitter rivals Dynamos on the way to semifinals.

Speaking ahead of the match, the Dutchman said: “Being in the final is important for the club. We play with confidence and believe in good results.

“Let’s hope we go through to the final, we will go for it. It will be good for the fans, players and the sponsors to be in the final.”

Bosso, meanwhile, will be boosted by the return of striker Prince Dube who missed the previous league games against Yadah and Dynamos due to red card suspension.

The match will be played at Barbourfields Stadium, and kick-off is at 3 pm.
