The Black Stars of Ghana were too good for Bafana Bafana in AFCON 2021 Group C qualfier after they beat the visitors 2-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium last night.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Patey thrust the Black Stars in front in the 35th minute with a shot from distance which beat Bafana and SuperSport goalkeeper Rowan Williams. That goal seperated the two sides at the interval.

A well-struck Kudu Mohammed strike in the final 10 minutes of regulation time would double Ghana’s advantage and ensure that Bafana commence their campaign on a losing note.

They (Bafana) take on Sudan next on Sunday at the Orlando Stadium.
