Zimbabwean coach Kalisto Pasuwa’s table-topping Malawian Super League outfit Nyasa Big Bullets continued with their impressive run courtesy of a 1-0 win over Mighty Tigers over the weekend.

Luke Chima’s solitary strike was all Bullets needed to collect three points and consolidate their spot at the summit of the table.

The victory sees Pasuwa’s side maintain a one-point lead over fellow title aspirants Be Forward Wanderers with 52 points from 24 games.

Pasuwa was impressed with his charges’ performance after the game.

“Sometimes when given a chance, you just need to utilize and that’s what Bright and Luke did today. The two guys were very aggressive when going forward and I was very impressed with the overall performance of the team. It was a tough match but by the end of the day, we were able to collect maximum points to maintain our position in the standings,” Pasuwa told the club’s website.
