Zimbabwean players abroad: Weekend performance wrap up

The Zimbabwean flag is raised around the world by several football players across the globe and here is how they fared for their teams this past weekend.

Admiral Muskwe netted a brace in Leicester City U-23’S brilliant 3-0 victory over Doncaster at Keepmoat Stadium. Muskwe’s side have won their last seven games in all competitions and face Everton tonight.

Aston Villa’s Marvelous Nakamba started for his side in their 1-4 drubbing by a Jamie Vardy-inspired Leicester City. This was Nakamba’s second consecutive start since he seemed to lost his place in the side after the international break.

Macauley Bonne featured for Charlton Athletic’s in their 0-1 defeat to Middlesbrough in the English Championship.

Still in England, Cliff Moyo captained Kidderminster Harriers in their 1-3 defeat to Boston United in the English 6th tier division.

Marshall Munetsi played the entire 90 mins in Stade de Reims’ 3-1 victory over St Entienne. This was the former Orlando Pirates man’s first start in a while as Reims returned to winning ways and also the first time he played the entire game in the league since that unforgettable night against PSG.

Teenage Hadebe was an unused substitute in Yeni Malatyaspor’s 1-3 defeat to Sivasspor in the Turkish Super League.
