The fixtures for the 2025/26 CAF Champions League Round of 32 have been confirmed following the conclusion of the 1st preliminary round.

Zimbabwe’s representatives Simba Bhora will play no further part in the competition after bowing out in the first round. The Shamva-based outfit making their debut in Africa’s premier club tournament, failed to progress after losing 4-2 on penalties to Nsingizini Hotspur of Eswatini on Sunday.

They needed just a draw to make it to the second preliminary round as they were leading 1-0 on aggregate. However an 89 minute score (1-1 on aggregate) tainted their hopes as the match headed straight to the penalties where they eventually lost.

And according to the published fixtures, Nsingizini Hotspurs will face Tanzanian giants Simba SC, while Prince Dube’s team in Tanzania, Young Africans have been paired with Malawi’s Silver Strikers. Record winners Al Ahly of Egypt will meet Burundi’s Aigle Noir, and Ugandan champions Vipers SC take on Zambia’s Power Dynamos.
