Chitembwe targets strong finish from CAPS United

CAPS United head coach Lloyd Chitembwe says the club has worked hard to be where there are at this stage of the season and is hoping they will be rewarded with the league title.

CAPS United take on Dynamos on Sunday at the National Sports Stadium in a big test for Chitembwe’s side who are two points clear at the top.

Speaking about the clash Chitembwe said, “We are not here by chance but by merit ,you cannot be where we are by being lucky when you have played 26 games.

‘We must be deserving .I think we deserve it, these boys deserve respect. They have worked hard for it and we now want a strong finish its been a long season.

With CAPS United on the brink of a first league title since 2005 Chitembwe revealed what would give him the most satisfaction.

“It not about me, what give me satisfaction will be seeing the joy of the players and the happiness of our supporters if we win the league title he added.
