Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic says the club can achieve something special in the UEFA Champions League despite a challenging season.Boosted by their EPL win over Crystal Palace Vidic said they wanted to continue playing well when they take on Olympiakos this evening.
“I believe that if we keep playing as we did against Crystal Palace ,we have a chance to do something good for the rest of the season,” Vidic said. “That means fourth place and the Champions League.
“I believe we can do something special in the Champions League. I really do.”
Vidic has already announced that he will be leaving United at the end of the season but wants to leave the club on a bang by leading his team to Champions League glory.
Manchester United will have to do without Phil Jones and Jonny Evans who are both injured, and record signing Juan Mata is cup-tied. Rafael and Danny Welbeck are available for selection.
