Eastern Region boss pledges to do better

THE newly elected Zifa Eastern region chairman, Pairaishe Mabhena has pledged to do better during his term of office in the quest of developing the quality and standard of football in the region.

Mabhena told Soccer24 “There are a number of new developments that I wish to bring. I pledge to organise, compete, account and generate value in the region.

With the help of my colleagues we are pledging to establish a vibrant and organised football community,” said Mabhena.

He assumed office after he beat Stanley Mago 12 -11 in an election process held about a fornight ago. Mabhena, who is a former Hippo Valley chairman, takes over from Fungai Chihuri who did not seek re-election.
