The second knockout round of African zone World Cup qualifiers got underway yesterday with Zambia and Mozambique registering wins.
Zambia clinched a key 1-0 win away to Sudan .Winston Kalengo’s 26th minute goal made all the difference for Chipoloplo .Zambia will now head into the second leg set for this weekend with the advantage.
In Maputo Mozambique made home advantage count when they beat Gabon 1-0. Bloemfontein Celtic striker Helder Pelembe scored the solitary goal.
