The Bob 92 ZIFA Cup has been cancelled. The cancellation follows Dynamos refusal to travel to Bulawayo to fulfil their fixture against Highlanders.

Dynamos had refused to make the trip as they are still owed money from last year’s edition and with sponsorship for this year yet to be finalised there wasn’t any guarantee that the situation would change.

CAPS United were supposed to replace Dynamos but already set for a friendly against Mutare City  tomorrow. The Highlanders executive and the tournament organisers confirmed the decision.

It remains unclear whether the match will be rescheduled ,the tie was set to be played over two legs with the return leg supposed to be played in Harare next week.

The cancellation is likely to infuriate Supersport who were set to screen the match live and had already arrived in Bulawayo to cover the match.
