Mubaiwa: Lloyd Mutasa staying at Dynamos

Lloyd Mutasa is set to continue as Dynamos head coach despite a poor finish last season.

Mutasa had largely been expected to be dismissed following a bad 2016 season where the Zimbabwean football giants finished in 5th one of their worst finishes in recent seasons.

Mutasa had taken over from controversial Portuguese mentor Paulo Silva .However speaking at the club’s annual general meeting held yesterday Dynamos president Kenny Mubaiwa indicated they had opted to retain the services of Mutasa.

Mubaiwa said they wanted the club to get back to its best and called for fans to rally behind the club and support Mutasa as well.

‘I am pleading with all the Dynamos fans to give support to Lloyd said Mubaiwa. Mutasa would be on a performance based contract that would seem him reviewed after five games with pre-season games included in the review.

Dynamos are set to step up their pre-season training this week after holding trials last week. Successful trial-lists will join the rest of the squad as Dembare prepare for the 2017 league season.
