Our mission was to take three points to Kariba, says Chidzambwa

ZPC Kariba coach, Sunday Chidzambwa, has said he is happy after the team triumphed over Harare City by 1-0 away at Morris Depot in Harare on Monday.

A 40th minute Talent Chamboko strike was enough for the Chidzambwa side to secure a second straight win, extending Harare City’s winless streak to five games.

“It was a very difficult game for both teams. Very few chances were created by both teams. I think our mission was to try and take three points to Kariba. I’m happy that we did [so] and we look forward to the next match.

“A coach will never be satisfied. Like myself, I’m not satisfied with my defence. I’ll really need to work on my defence. There are some areas like high balls; we are failing to deal with high balls. So we need to work on the high balls and our defence will become water tight,” Chidzambwa told journalists after the match.

ZPC Kariba, who have a game in hand, are now seventh on the league table with nine points.
