Ngezi Platinum Stars registered a biggest winning margin by any team this season so far, and coach Tonderai Ndiraya is convinced they have successfully worked on their frontline which saw them failing to score in their last game.

Madamburo beat Yadah 5-0 with James Nguluve, Marlon Mushonga, Terrence Dzvukamanja, Donald Teguru and Clive Augusto all on target for the Mhondoro-based side.

“We had some problems of scoring before, but today (Saturday) we were very clinical in front of goal which is something encouraging,” said Ndiraya.

“Overall, I’m impressed as this is our first time this season to score five goals in a match. We are done with this game, and our focus is now on the next encounter.”

Ngezi are now on 26 points, one ahead of second-placed FC Platinum. They will face CAPS United in Match-day 11 in Harare.
