Knowkedge Musona marked his return to action after a long injury layoff by scoring in a 0-4 victory for KV Ostende over Eupen on Saturday to provisionally stretch move his team to third in the Europa playoffs five points behind leaders Sint-Truiden with just two matches to play.

Musona, making his third appearance since damaging ankle ligaments against Club Brugge in January, netted his sixth goal of the season when he doubled the lead in the 53rd minute after Richairo Zivkovic had nodded the team ahead on the stroke of halftime.

The Smiling Assassin could have made it two goals but missed from the penalty spot in the 63rd minute seeing his effort sail over the bar.

He was substituted in the 74th minute making way for Emmanuel Banda.

Ramin Rezaeian and Zinho Gano completed the rout in the 82nd and 88th minute respectively.
