Lloyd Mutasa will be seeking to salvage lost pride when Dynamos hosts Bulawayo Chiefs at Rufaro stadium on Saturday in the Chibuku Super Cup.
The Glamour Boys have had a miserable season, their worst in more than a decade which has seen them become a laughing stock fighting against relegation instead of the championship.
“We always want to do well in these competitions and this one is no exception. The boys have been responding well at training, and I am sure to come the day they are going to deliver. As a coach, you would want to win every game and now with the league title out of the picture we turn our focus on this Chibuku Cup,” said Mutasa.
Dynamos go into the match on the backdrop of a 1-0 league defeat to Harare City last weekend.
The Chibuku Super Cup has eluded them since its return in 2015 with FC Platinum, Ngezi Platinum and Harare City the only teams to have won it.
