CAPS United and Highlanders renew their rivalry this afternoon in a match scheduled for National Sports Stadium.

The encounter comes as both teams are out of the title race with only a point separating them on the log. The Green Machine sits in 5th place while Bosso occupies the succeeding position.

The fixture is the last league match for Bosso in the capital city this season.

Team News
Two players, each from either side, will miss today’s clash due to suspension. CAPS United will be without defender Stephen Makatuka while Highlanders will do it without the services of midfielder Denzel Khumalo.

Bosso captain Honest Moyo and striker Tafadzwa Sibanda are also out due to injuries. Sibanda received six stitches above the eye after clashing of heads with a Yadah defender last week.

Highlanders are making their sixth league trip of the season to Harare where they have won three matches and drew once. They triumphed in the previous round, beating Yadah 2-1. CAPS United, on the other hand, lost to Ngezi on Wednesday, and have managed to pick two victories in their five recent games.

The last two meetings between the sides have ended in stalemate. However, it’s CAPS United who have dominated in recent encounters. Highlanders only have two wins since 2013.
