Highlanders coach Madinda Ndlovu has reportedly been impressed by an American trialist who has been training with the club for over a month now.

Dillon Nino, 23, who plays as a centre-back was part of the selection that recently went into a pre-season camp at Matopos and in the Eastern Highlands. According to B-Metro, the defender seemed to have charmed the technical team and was seen doing workouts at a gym along with other Bosso players early this week.

However, it’s unknown if the Bulawayo giants have entered into a contract with the player and registered him with PSL before the deadline on Friday.

Highlanders have previously been home to some American players in the likes of Tommy Clark, Geoffrey Wheeler, Kelly Jacobson and Andrew Shue who is now an actor.
