FC Platinum will be looking to extend their unbeaten run when they host Herentals at Mandava Stadium.

The Platinum Boys are the only team which is yet to taste a defeat in this campaign and are sitting on top of the league with 13 points. They have won four of their five games and drew once, and coach Norman Mapeza wants his charges to maintain the consistency.

Their opponents have been riding high in the last two games when they collected four points against Dynamos and Ngezi Platinum Stars.

“For now the most important thing is to be consistent, we are playing a very good side. Morale will be very high in their camp after they collected four points in their two games against Dynamos and Ngezi Platinum, so we know the challenge we are going to face.”

The Students, however, could be stopped this afternoon if records are anything to go by. They are still to pick a point against FC Platinum and lost both legs last season.

Meanwhile, the reigning champions will miss the services of midfielder Farai Madhananga who is in South Africa on trials. The quartet of William Stima, Kelvin Madzongwe, Wallace Magalane and Raphael Muduviwa remains on the sidelines with injuries, but Gift Mbweti is available for selection.
