Cranborne Bullets have secured promotion to the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League after attaining an unassailable 69 points in the Northern Region Division One.

Bullets edged out Grain Tigers 1-0 at 2 Brigade Barracks in Harare to book a place among the big boys in the top-flight league for the first time in their history.

They are coached by Nesbert “Yabo’’ Saruchera who also won the Division One championship with Flame Lily in 2014.

Meanwhile, Cranborne’s promotion will bring the number of army sides in the Premiership to two should Black Rhinos avoid slumping in their remaining fixtures of the season.
