ZIFA have reinstated head coach Callisto Pasuwa as the national team head coach.

Pasuwa was fired on Thursday leading to a public outcry from fans and stakeholders. Yesterday the Sports Ministry called for his reinstatement and expressed their concern over the hastily made decision.

ZIFA seem to have heeded the calls by reversing the controversial decisions.

ZIFA spokesperson Xolisani Gwesela told Soccer24 this afternoon. “Yes I can confirm that Pasuwa is back as the national team coach,we will be releasing a statement soon said Gwesela.

Pasuwa will now gather back his troops to resume their CHAN 2016 preparations this weekend after the squad had been disbanded following his sacking.
